Washing: You can wash it by hand (with cold water) or in the washing machine (maximum 30 degrees).
We recommend turning it upside down to prevent it from forming balls.

Drying: Avoid tumble drying. Simply leave it out to air dry.

Ironing: Avoid touching the fabric with the iron, only steam from a distance.

Blood donor (1936) Australia

At the age of 14, James underwent a complicated operation and had to receive numerous blood transfusions. After months in hospital, he decided that when he grew up he would give blood whenever he could. When the time came, they discovered that his blood was special. It contained an impressive amount of the immunoglobulin antibody RHo (D) or Anti-D. In addition, his plasma regenerated at a very fast rate. No one can explain why this miraculous blood existed, but they did know what they could do with it. It turns out that this antibody is exactly what mothers suffering from Rhesus disease need. Harrison dedicated his life to giving this precious plasma, which was used to treat millions of Australian mothers, including his own daughter. He gave it religiously every 3 weeks, although he was never able to look at the needle because he had a great aversion to it. Over 63 years, he had 1.172 extractions. It is estimated that he has helped prevent the deaths of more than 2.4 million children. At 81, James made his last blood donation, having reached the limit allowed by law. “It’s a sad day for me, the end of a long career [...] I would still do it, if they would let me.”
