About the elderly person who gives this jersey its name

Johanna van Gogh Bonger
Art collector (1862-1925) Netherlands

In 1891, Johanna was widowed with a son who was barely a year old. She inherited an apartment in Paris and approximately 200 worthless works by her brother-in-law Vincent Van Gogh. Even her husband, who was an art dealer, had not managed to sell them. Despite being advised to get rid of the paintings, she returned to the Netherlands, opened a guesthouse and spent months collecting canvases, cataloging them and moving them among her contacts. In 1892, she opened her first exhibition in Amsterdam to great acclaim. She also worked diligently to publish the more than 600 letters that Van Gogh wrote to his brother. Her way of showing these works to the world was very innovative and highly influential for the art world today. Her vision turned that crazy painter who sold only 3 paintings in his lifetime into one of the most recognized artists in the world. In 1905, despite her family's disapproval, she was one of the founding members of the Socialist Women's Movement.

Men's or unisex sweater with colorful stripes. It is a classic and timeless design that never goes out of style. Its blue and red tones make it very flattering and perfect to wear on any occasion, such as at work or in the mountains. The shape of the sweater is the basic pattern.

*For reference, the model is wearing size L and is 1,75m tall.
